Summer Camp Programs

MCHNB's Summer Day Camp offers children the opportunity to develop self-confidence, learn new skills, gain independence, and have a wonderful time in the outdoors. Held on our three-acre campus, the camp combines class activities in our air conditioned indoors with interactions with nature and friends in our beautiful outdoor environment.

The camp combines Montessori materials and methods, presented by qualified teachers, with traditional summer camp activities. Campers will:

All campers are provided with a t-shirt and bag for their days at camp, and Senior Campers are invited to our special Senior Overnight.

Campers are grouped by their ages, and their activities are tailored to those that are appropriate:

Parent-Child (Birth to 36 months old): A parent, caregiver, or grandparent attend a weekly session with the child and develop together through free exploration, movement to music, and gentle message. It is an experience of growth for both.

Junior Campers (3 to 6 years old): Juniors spend their days at the Children's House exploring the Montessori classrooms as well as enjoying the beautiful outdoors through games, pony rides, and art.

Senior Campers (6 to 9 years old): Seniors have an enjoyable time working on a variety of outdoor projects as well as pony rides, games, and an assortment of arts & crafts experiences, all in the Montessori spirit.

The camp operates in three sessions and is open from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Our Montessori Summer Day Camp is accredited by the American Camping Association. For more information, including availability, tuition, and available discounts, please contact the office at (847) 550-0917.
