Welcome to the Montessori Children's House

Since its founding over 25 years ago, the Montessori Children's House has served thousands of children from communities in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. The school provides programs for children from birth to six years of age. In employing the Montessori method of education, the school offers personalized, respectful, and faithful experience in learning and growth to all of our students.

The school's teachers form a deeply committed staff of educators who demonstrate a human caring attitude toward the education of young children. The teachers are college graduates certified in the Montessori approach and holders of American Montessori Society credentials for the education of young children.

The Montessori Children's House of North Barrington is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the American Montessori Society, and its summer camp program is accredited by the American Camping Association. MCH is also a lab school of Montessori Education Centers Associated, one of the oldest and largest Montessori teacher preparation programs in North America.
