Bring your family, your garden tools and a picnic blanket and join us for our annual Fall Family Garden Day and Picnic on Friday, October 12th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.   This is a regularly scheduled day for students.

We invite you to join the families and staff from our Montessori Children’s House Community as we garden together and work on developing our outdoor environment for the children.

We encourage parents to spend the morning with their child cleaning up flower beds, spreading wood chips under play equipment, planting bulbs that will come up in the spring and preparing the garden for winter.  As you spend this time with your child caring for their school environment you will be strengthening the connection between their home life and their school community – an essential connection for children as they grow into new experiences!
